El noruego Tobias Foss se proclamó vencedor final del Tour del Porvenir asegurándose su victoria en la ascensión final a Le Corbier en dónde pudo controlar a su directos rivales: el segundo clasificado el italiano Giovanni Aleotti (+1’10») y al belga Ilan Van Wilder tercero (2’33»). De esta forma el futuro corredor del Jumbo-Visma para 2020 hace historia siendo el primer corredor del país escandinavo en hacerse con el título de la ronda gala sib-23.
Por su parte, el ecuatoriano Jefferson Cepeda consiguió alzarse con la victoria de la última etapa imponiéndose en la escapada al luxemburgués Michel Reis y al español Iñigo Elosegui en su mejor posición durante la carrera. Su compañero Urko Berrade no pudo mantener el top 10 en la clasificación general acabando en 12ª posición. En cambio, Jon Agirre subirá al podio para recoger el maillot del mejor escalador de la prueba gala sub-23.
