Tras el éxito cosechado por Ivar Slik (MonkeyTown-Block) en Sighișoara, los corredores del Tour de Rumania disputaron este jueves la segunda etapa de 176,3 kilómetros entre Brasov y Focsani. El día terminó con un sprint masivo ganado por el polaco Stanislaw Aniolkowski (Development CCC). Este último ha precedido en la línea de meta al estonio Mihkel Raïm y al rumano Eduard Grosu, ya tercero el día anterior. En la general, Slik mantuvo la túnica de su líder amarillo.
