El corredor neerlandés Alex Molenaar (Monkey Town-A Block) consiguió la victoria final en la ronda por etapas rumana tomando el lugar más alto del podio en compañía de Karel Hnik (Elkov-Autor) y Serghei Tvetcov (Rumania), último ganador.
El sprint de la quinta etapa fue ganado por Stanislaw Aniolkowski (CCC DT), quien había logrado el triunfo ya en la segunda jornada. El joven polaco pudo con el local Eduard Grosu evitando además que un corredor rumano no haya podido conquistar ninguna victoria parcial o global.
