El italiano Matteo Trentin (Quick Step) sigue en plena forma tras sus recientes cuatro victorias en la Vuelta a España y ganó este sábado en solitario la séptima edición de la Primus Classic -exGP Impanis- prueba belga 1.1 UCI entre Brakel y Boortmeerbeek sobre un recorrido de 199,6 kilómetros.
Trentin firmó la 51ª victoria 2017 de su equipo tras la del colombiano Fernando Gaviria –ganador en 2016– en el Campeonato de Flandes. El luxemburgués Jean-Pierre Drucker (BMC) -al que dejó a 2 kilómetros del final- y el alemán André Greipel (Lotto), el más rápido del grupo ante Gaviria, le acompañaron en el podio.
Fran Ventoso -compañero de Drucker- fue el único español en meta tras el abandono del sub-26 Mikel Aristi, próximo corredor del Euskadi-Murias
