El estonio Martin Laas (Iluminate) se ha llevado el triunfo en la cuarta etapa del Tour de Tailandia al imponerse, al fin, al sprint, algo que ha venido buscando desde el inicio de esta prueba del calendario asiático y que se le escapó tanto en la primera etapa como, sobre todo, en la segunda, cuando acabó en cuarta posición.
Tal y como era de esperar, la etapa, completamente llana salvo por un par de repechos sin dificultad alguna situados en los primeros kilómetros, se decidió en una llegada masiva que, lógicamente, no produjo diferencias de tiempos en una general que sigue encabezada por el australiano Benjamin Dyball (St. George), al que parece que sólo una desgracia podría apartar del triunfo final a falta de la disputa de únicamente dos etapas que, por otra parte, son completamente llanas y sin ningún lugar donde el ruso Artem Ovechkin (Terengganu) o el francés Thomas Lebas (Kinan), a 16 y 18 segundos del líder, respectivamente, puedas plantear alguna estrategia para recortar esas diferencias.
