Mihkel Raïm (Israel Cycling Academy) se ha llevado el triunfo en la segunda etapa del Tour de Corea (UCI 2.1). El estonio se ha impuesto en el sprint con el que se ha resuelto la etapa de más de 200 kilómetros con final en Yeongju. Raïm, que este año se adjudicó un triunfo parcial en la Vuelta a Castilla y León -la etapa con final en Palencia-, además de una victoria en el Tour de Japón, ha superado al holandés Raymond Kreder (Team UKYO) y al argentino Lucas Sebastián Haedo (UnitedHealthCare) en una volata que no ha contado con la presencia de uno de los grandes favoritos, Jakub Mareczko (Wilier), que quedó cortado previamente y cedió más de 9 minutos en meta.
La clasificación general sigue comandada por el surcoreano Hyeong Min Choe, vencedor en la jornada inaugural, con un segundo de ventaja sobre el canadiense del Israel Ben Perry. Joan Bou (Nippo-Vini Fantini), mejor español, ocupa el puesto 27º. El viernes espera otra etapa de casi 200 kilómetros con final en Jeongseon y con otra previsible llegada masiva.
