Victoria para el danés Andreas Stokbro Nielsen en el sprint del grupo de favoritos en el desenlace de la Vuelta a Flandes sub-23 celebrada sobre un recorrido final de 167 kms y los pasos por los míticos Kapelmuur, Viejo Kwaremont, Paterberg, Boigneberg y Wolvenberg como en profesionales. En segunda posición finalizaría el corredor de la selección de Flandes, Cedric Beullens, y en tercera posición el británico Jake Stewart, improvisada opción para los ingleses tras la caída de su líder Tom Pidcock cuando se lanzaba la volata final.
Mala suerte para la selección española y su máximo aspirante Íñigo Elosegui, que perdían toda opción de disputar tras varios pinchazos y la tardía asistencia lastraron al combinado nacional por estar más arriba en la clasificación-
