Segunda consecutiva para al combinado británico esta vez le toco el turno a Fred Wright quien ganó la cuarta etapa del Tour del Porvenir con claridad al sprint de un grupo fugado de 8 corredores.
El francés Simon Guglielmi, también en la fuga del día finalizando la etapa cuarto, se vistió con el maillot amarillo pero con una ventaja exigua de un solo segundo sobre el italiano Giovanni Aleotti y de 42″ sobre su antecesor en el liderato el noruego Tobias Foss (futuro corredor del Jumbo-Visma).
