Lucas Carstensen es el primer líder del Tour de Tailandia, la primera prueba 2.1 UCI del calendario internacional 202. El alemán del BikeAid fue el más rápido de un un grupo de 24 corredores superando al malayo Irwandie Lakasek y al local Thanawut Sanikwathi, añadiendo asi su éxito a sus dos últimas victorias en 202o, otras dos etapas de la ronda asiática.
El vallisoletano Edgar Nohales, el único español participante, se clasificó en 60ª posición a 7 segundos del ganador por lo que se convierte en el primer líder del TOP Ciclo 21 2022, la clasificación al mejor español del año.
