Federica Venturelli se ha proclamado campeona del mundo contrarreloj en categoría júnior después de marcar el mejor tiempo (26:23) en la línea de meta. La italiana, que el año que viene correrá en el conjunto filial del UAE, superó por 24 segundos a Stina Kagevi (26:47) que se colgó la plata y a Hannah Kunz (26:56) que se adjudicó la medalla de bronce. Violeta Hernández, única representante española, terminó en la 43ª plaza a 4:44 de la vencedora italiana.
