Pascal Ackermann (Bora) fue el ganador del 86° GP de Fourmies, tras 205 kilómetros, el día después de ganar en Bruselas, superando al local Arnaud Démare y al colombiano Álvaro Hodeg.
Cornu, Deltombe, Gerts, Gruzdev y Le Roux fueron los escapados del día siempre controlados por el grupo. David Gaudu, Benoît Cosnefroy y Axel Journiaux remacharon a Gerts, el mejor de la fuga a 23 kilómetros del final.
Gaudu se fue solo a 10 kilómetros, pero Quick-Step anuló al francés y después a Marco Canola a 3 kilómetros. Mads Pedersen fue el último aventurero antes del sprint final construido por el Groupama, lanzado por Démare y perfectamente rematado por el enrachado Ackermann. Un corredor con victorias en Romandía, Dauphiné, el campeonato de su país, RideLondon y dos etapas en Polonia.
Joan Bou y Juanjo Lobato fueron los dos únicos españoles pero pasaron desapercibidos.
