Max Walscheid (Sunweb) se ha adjudicado el triunfo en la edición 2018 de la Sparkassen Münsterland Giro (1.HC), celebrado este miércoles entre Coesfeld y Münster, 210.8 kilómetros.
El gigantón alemán se ha impuesto al sprint a sus compatriotas John Degenkolb (Trek-Segafredo), Nils Politt (Katusha-Alpecin) y Andre Greipel (Lotto-Soudal), mientras que el primer Quick-Step, el francés Florian Sénéchal, ha entrado quinto mientras que su compañero Fernando Gaviria quedó cortado previamente. Es el décimo triunfo de la escuadra blanquinegra en 2018 y el segundo de Walscheid, que ya se apuntó la tercera etapa del Tour de Yorkshire.
El sub-26 andaluz José Manuel Díaz (Israel) fue el primer español en meta.
