Prólogo Boels Ladies Tour (WWT): Vuela Van Vleuten

La australiana, y actual campeona del mundo de CRI, Annemiek van Vleuten hizo buenos los pronósticos y se impuso en el prólogo del Boels Ladies Tour de 3,8 kms en Sittard-Geleen El corredora del Mitchelton-Scott, de 36 años fue con mucho el más rápido en el Tom Dumoulin Bike Park. Van Vleuten, quien también se proclamó la primera líder de la carrera neerlandesa WorldTour femenino, distanció en 6″ a la campeona nacional alemana Lisa Klein (Canyon-Sram) y  a la neerlandesa Lucinda Brand (Sunweb) en 7″. 

La riojana Sheyla Gutiérrez fue la mejor de las españolas, finalizando la prueba cronometrada en 53ª posición a 28″ de la nueva líder de la carrera.
