El suizo Stefan Bissegger se ha llevado el triunfo en una sexta etapa del Tour del Porvenir marcada por las malas condiciones climáticas. Ganador este mismo año de etapas en el Tour de Jura, Tour de l’Ain y la New Zealand Cyle Classic, el helvético suma ahora la victoria más importante de su carrera. En lo que respecta a la clasificación, el italiano Aleotti es el nuevo líder. Urko Berrade, que sigue siendo el mejor de los españoles, asciende hasta la 12ª posición a 2’05” y José Félix Parra a la 26ª a 5’04.
Balance español
El pelotón tuvo que lidiar con temperaturas inferiores a los 10 grados que acompañadas de viento, niebla y una intensa y constante lluvia, que ha provocado que el pelotón se fracturara en los kilómetros iniciales y que finalmente haya habido diferencias reseñables entre los principales candidatos a la victoria final.
La primera mitad de carrera, que se desarrollaba sobre una zona de altiplano, salpicada de pequeños repechos, ha sido escenario de la formación de un corte de unos 50 ciclistas en el que la selección española se encontraba representada. En cabeza, rodaban Oier Lazkano, Urko Berrade, Iñigo Elosegui, Jon Agirre y José Félix Parra hasta que la mala fortuna se ha interpuesto en sus opciones.
Lazkano sufrió un pinchazo e Iñigo Elosegui una caída que les ha dejado cortados antes de afrontar la subida final, que se coronaba a 7 km de meta. En ella, Berrade ha vuelto a demostrar su fortaleza resistiendo con los mejores, mientras que Parra se encontraba en un segundo grupo perseguidor.
La delicada situación del asfalto invitaba a arriesgar y fruto de ello han vuelto a cortarse los distintos grupos. En la línea de meta, se ha jugado el triunfo un grupo de seis ciclistas entre los que el suizo Bissegger ha sido el más rápido para hacerse con la etapa. Berrade ha entrado poco después, a 23”, en décima posición. Parra finalmente ha sido 29º a 2’37”; mientras que Elosegui y Jon Agirre han llegado a algo más de 14 minutos y Lazkano a 17’. Xavi Cañellas ha abandonado como informa la RFEC.
