Con sólo 22 años, el francés Rémi Cavagna (Quick Step Floors), la última gran perla surgida de la cantera de Patrick Lefevere, se ha llevado hoy el triunfo en la A Través de Flandes Oeste después de una nueva clase magistral de Quick Step Floors en esto del ciclismo de un día.
La escuadra belga no sólo dominó la carrera sino que, una vez más, consiguió que la misma se desarrollara conforme a sus deseos e intereses. Tanto es así que, como ya sucediera hace unos días en Le Samyn, acabaron protagonizando un doblete en el podio después de que Florian Sénéchal dejara atrás a Frederik Frisson (Lotto-Soudal).
Además, Fabio Jakobsen (4º) y Jhonatan Narváez (7º) completaron el festival de un Quick Step que metió a cuatro de sus hombres en el top10.
